Mollie was an elite rugby player winning two 7s National Championships for the San Diego Surfers before retiring and focusing on becoming an elite strength and conditioning coach After her rugby career, she moved to to complete her masters in Strength and Conditioning at Cardiff Metropolitan University, one of the top sports schools in the UK. While in Wales she worked a full-time S&C internship with the PRO-14 professional rugby team, the Newport Gwent Dragons. Today, Mollie works for the Training HAUS powered by Twin Cities Orthopedics as the head S&C coach and supervisor at the Edina High School Wellness Center. She is also a World Rugby S&C Coach Educator.
Mollie, MSc, CSCS, is a Minnesota native who grew up playing multiple sports but focused on hockey and then rugby since she was 15. She attended UW-Milwaukee completing her undergraduate degree in psychology with a focus in kinesiology and played D1 rugby. Mollie then moved to San Diego to compete at the elite level playing for the San Diego Surfers, winning two 7s National Championships all while she worked at the American Council on Exercise. She also worked part time for the San Diego men’s Old Aztec rugby club team as the S&C coach. After her rugby career, she moved to Cardiff (UK) to complete her masters in S&C including a full-time S&C internship with the PRO-14 professional rugby team, the Newport Gwent Dragons. Today, Mollie works for the Training HAUS powered by Twin Cities Orthopedics as the head S&C coach and supervisor at the Edina High School Wellness Center and part time as a World Rugby S&C Coach Educator.
